Holiday Décor` ~ Hawaiian Style!
This Tree of Light consists of boxes covered with lotus and bamboo leaves, water filled bowls with decorative red wire, flickering candles, a garland of pincushion and safari sunset protea, anthuriums, and amaranthus, topped by a 50-yeard-old heirloom ipu heke ‘ole sprouting a safari sunset protea, torch ginger and amaranthus arrangement.
The lotus and bamboo leaf boxes represent sustainability, water bowls signify life, the candles illuminate the future, the floral garland symbolize the productivity of the ‘āina, while the ipu heke ‘ole embodies the values of pono, aloha and lōkahi.
